Today we headed to Mauthausen Concentration Camp. The concentration camp is located in Mauthausen, a small town along the Danube river. From the train station at Mauthausen we hiked the 6 km to reach the concentration camp. At the camp we were able to see the barracks, crematory, and gas chamber. Quite a sobering experience.
