This week we've been at my parents house in Kansas enjoying a little family time and relaxing. On Tuesday we didn't have any plans so Leah and I spent Ella's nap time playing Jenga. I love that Leah's at the age where we can play board games together. I also (for the most part) love teaching her the rules and how to play different games, Jenga was no different.

Leah's 4th Birthday Pictures
I'm trying to get caught up on a few blogging things and I can't believe I forgot to update with Leah's 4th birthday pictures.
We headed out one Sunday morning to get a few pictures and they turned out better than I thought they would. I didn't really have any outfits planned and I'm not even sure Leah had had a bath recently, but it all pulled together.
I couldn't include Leah's 4 year pictures without including a picture of her and her best friend, Pursley.
This one might be my favorite, her sweet expression and hair. I wish I could get my hair to curl like hers without any help.
Looking at these pictures, I can't believe how much she's already grown and how much older she looks now, please slow down time!
Here are some other pictures to compare:

Abilene Carousel {Spring Break}
On Wednesday of Spring Break we headed to Abilene to check out the C.W. Parker Carousel and Old Town Abilene. Since the weather wasn't too great, we just rode the carousel, looked at the old log cabin, and looked around at the indoor quilt show and telephone museum.
The carousel, which was built in 1901, still runs and the horses rock back and forth during the ride. We had the place and the tour guide to ourselves.
The museum inside had a little replica carousel and plenty of quilts to keep Grandma Debbie occupied.

Such a fun little excursion for spring break and a place to plan to re-visit when the weather warms up.

Brynn's Birthday
Last month we got to help celebrate sweet Brynn's 2nd Birthday.
I can't believe this sweet, spunky girl is two. It seems like just yesterday that we were on big brother watch or meeting her in the hospital.
Peppa Pig is Brynn's favorite, so we headed over for a Peppa Pig themed birthday.
A party complete with oreo cupcakes and presents.
Sweet, tired Ella got some love from Tim's aunt Becky.
No present from Leah is complete without one of Leah's colored pictures.
Yummy Oreo cupcakes
This picture encompasses everything a child's birthday should be, happy party goers celebrating the birthday girl.
Happy 2nd Birthday Brynn!
Thanks for letting us join in celebrating your special day!
