Since I haven't been blogging much, I thought I'd share a few videos.

I love her excited face when she's reading the book.  I can imagine seeing that same face when she's opening future Christmas and birthday presents.

Letters to Leah Month 7

Happy 7th Month Birthday Leah!
Here are some of your happenings this month:
- You weigh 15 lbs 3.5 oz, (according to my calculations that's the 15 percentile)
- You're wearing size 6 months and still some 3-6 months but they are getting small.
- You are still taking 3 good naps a day
- You generally sleep from 7:30pm to 7:00am, last month you started waking up once or twice a night, but we are back to the 7:30pm to 7:00am schedule.
- We aren't swaddling you any more
- You're eating 2 solid meals a day and so far have tried sweet potatoes, avocado, and bananas. I think bananas might be your favorite so far.
- You are doing a great job of sitting up and I'm really liking this age because I can sit you on the floor to play and you're usually in the same place when I get back.
- You haven't started crawling yet, but are rolling all over the place.  I'd say you'll be crawling within the next month.  Let the babyproofing begin!
- You spend lots of time playing on the floor, playing in your exercauser, and we've started putting you in the jumper.  
- You are still very vocal and have the cutest laugh. You've started kicking your feet and screaming when you get excited.
- Everyone we meet comments on how awake and alert you are and they comment on your eyebrows. 
- Still no teeth.

Just Pictures, and Surprisingly Decent Ones!

Last week Leah pulled my camera off the counter and it fell on the floor, hard.  I didn't think anything of it, I've been pretty rough on my camera, but this hit took a toll. The digital display on the back is broken and no longer works.  The view finder works, but I just can't see the pictures after I've taken them.  This really puts a damper on my picture taking.  Guess I'll be digging up our old camera and saving my pennies for the "Jody really needs a new camera fund"!

Green Seats

Last week Tim had the opportunity to use his company "green seats" to the Cardinals game.  We had just been to the game the night before, but decided that the opportunity to use the green seats doesn't come along very often so we jumped at the offer.  Luckily Robyn was generous enough to come back and watch Leah for the second night in a row.  The seats were awesome, if you've ever watched a Cardinals game, the green seats are right behind home plate, we were in the 4th row!  Not only did we have great seats, but the seats come with a waiter and all you can eat and drink, it was awesome! (And the bathroom had a bathroom attendant, she hands you paper towels after you dry your hands!)  The seats also come with a parking pass to the lot right across the street, a free buffet before the game (we didn't get there early enough to enjoy this), and a nice bar area with televisions to watch the game if you get cold.  This is also the area where the umpires enter and leave the stadium. I could definitely get used to watching the game like this!
Here are a few pictures from the game.  They didn't turn out great because the camera wanted to focus on the netting in front of us, but hopefully you can get an idea of how close we were.
