Bath Time

I've been waiting for the day when I could bathe Leah and Ella together.  The ease of having them both in the tub at the same time to save time.
Ella sits well on her own, so I thought I'd give it a try.  I ran a little bit of water, put them both in the tub, and washed away.

I'll wash Ella, then wash Leah, and while I'm putting Ella in her pjs, Leah gets to play a little more.
It's a win-win.  Leah and Ella enjoy the bath and each other and I don't have to deal with two baths.

Leah's not pictured, but Ella clearly thinks Leah's pretty funny.
I love this sweet little baby smile.

Sunny Sunday

Within the cold winter days there sometimes comes a warm winter day that leaves me longing for the spring weather.
This Sunday was one of those, the type that gives relief from the cold, a much needed day.

A day that allowed us to stretch our legs and try out some new Christmas presents.

And of course no trip out of the house is complete without Pursley at the helm.
Ella got a new trike for Christmas and enjoyed the warm weather and her first outdoor trike ride.

Valentine's Day Pictures

I couldn't let the Day of Love pass without practicing my photography skills on my two little loves.
So we headed outside to the crisp February air with books and blanket in hand.
I sat Ella down and asked Leah to read to her.  Their interaction turned out more precious than I could have ever imagined.

While I'm still learning this photography craft, and some of them aren't as perfect as I'd like, I'm so glad I was able to capture these sweet, sisterly moments.

My Little Artist

Leah's new favorite thing to do is color.  She asks to color all the time.  I can't tell you how many times a day I hear, "Can I color?" or "Can you tear out a picture for me?"  On this particular Sunday, I called her an artist and she loved it. She also loved sitting at the counter and coloring.
I love watching her coloring skills develop and watching her turn into a little creative artist.

It's all fine until little sister gets in on the coloring action.  Thank goodness Ella isn't old enough to color yet or really understand what's going on.  I'm already a little worried about Leah's love for coloring and a mobile Ella.
