Kansas Cardinal Fans

Leah and I spent the week following Memorial Day in Salina and headed back to St. Louis with my mom, Aunt Susan, Garrett, and Sam.  Ever since the girls got their trip to St. Louis, the boys have been wanting their own trip.  I'm not sure we did as many fun things as the boys wanted, but I think they enjoyed themselves.   Sam is also a huge Cardinals fan and has wanted to attend a Cardinals game and we finally took him up on the opportunity.  We had tickets for the Friday night game against the Giants (thanks Dan!), but due to severe storms, the game was postponed and rescheduled for Saturday.  Thank goodness it was cancelled because the storms were quite severe.
The kids before we left my mom's house in Kansas.  They all did very well on the drive, thanks to multiple iPads and the DVD player.

Before we left for Friday night's rain-out

Leah didn't attend the game with us, but just got in on the pictures before.
The giveaway for the game on Friday night was a bat for each child under 12.
The tarp being rolled out for the game on Friday night, not what we wanted to see.  We had a feeling the game wasn't going to happen when no one was in the bullpen or dugout.
On Saturday the rain cleared out and it was a perfect day for a game.
