To Do:
Recently while surfing the internet, I stumbled onto this blog that contained a "to do" list of 50 items to be completed in 1001 days. I decided to start my own "to do" list. After a week of brainstorming things for my to do list, I've finally finished. I decided to share my to do list and then post updates as I cross things off the list. Here is the list so far:
- Walk Daisy everyday for a month
- Run a 10K
- Run a half-marathon
- Read Gone with the Wind and watch the movie
- Scuba Dive or Snorkel
- Take a cake decorating class
- Bake a pie from scratch
- Take a sign language class
- Read 2 books a month for a whole year (0/24)
- Buy a sewing machine and learn to sew
- Sew 5 things (0/5)
- Join a church
- Become active in a church
- Stop drinking soda
- Lose 10 pounds
- Take a photography class
- Ride my bike to work
- Read the entire Bible
- Start a journal
- Go to a theatre production
- Go without TV for a week
- Volunteer with 3 different organizations (0/3)
- Grow a garden
- Can things from my garden
- Go to the gym 4-5 times a week for a month
- Host a dinner party
- Have a spa day with a friend
- Send 5 people cards for no reason (0/5)
- Stay at a Bed and Breakfast in Kansas
- See Yellowstone National Forest
- Take a German Language class
- Visit a German speaking country to practice my language skills
- Take a spontaneous weekend trip
- Go to Las Vegas
- Go to New York City
- Make someone's day
- Develop a budget and stick to it
- Workout with a personal trainer
- Try 1 new recipe each week for an entire month
- Buy someone flowers for no reason
- Keep fresh flowers in the house for a month
- Spend the day at the beach
- Visit Disney World
- Iron Tim's work clothes for a month
- Visit the Lincoln Museum in Springfield, IL
- Have a girls weekend
- Visit the Nelson Atkins Museum
- Go to a T-Bones Game
- Go to bed at 9:00 each night for a week
- Run another 5K
- Go to Cardinals Spring Training
- Find 4 new ways to go green and implement them
- Make a quilt
- Watch a sunset
- Watch a sunrise
- Take piano lessons
- Clean and organize the kitchen cabinets
- Give more homemade cards
- Visit the Kansas History Museum
- Clean out the closet and donate items to Goodwill
- Eat more fruits and vegetables
